There are not so many Vintage Fairs being held this coming weekend, the 10th and 11th December 2011, so there is just one post for both days.
As we always say, we believe all of the information is correct at the time we publish the article but please, please check with the links provided to confirm the date, venue and times and let me know of any changes or mistakes.
If you do go, have a great vintage time and send us a link to any photos you take or articles you buy. If you are organising or know about a vintage event please let us know, thanks.
There are a lot of events for next Sunday, 4 December 2011, so have a look below and decide which one is for you. We have events from most of the UK including one from Northern Ireland even and an event in Norwich: which I added myself (those who know me will know that Norfolk is my second home!). We do not have events from Scotland so perhaps vintage fairs have not yet caught on there. (No, I doubt it too, so if you know of an upcoming event in Scotland please let me know.)
December is looming and we are moving every so much closer to Christmas so that shopping takes on that festive urgency that only a good vintage fair can clear.
Here are four Vintage events for this Saturday, 26 November 2011 in Hull, Henley-on-Thames, Haringey and Watford (both in London). Sixties Britain supports Vintage Fairs as a great way to buy, get ideas, meet others that share our interest, have fun and, equally important, share ideas.
In our occasional series highlighting vintage shops we like to feature some Etsy shops if we can as these are usually good value and seem to contain some of the things other shops miss. Aside from that, both Avril and I enjoy looking and buying online and my experience with Etsy shops has always been a positive one.
